� Mont Saint Michel Faience Ware Donkey with Panniers Salt Cellar� Offering for sale this French faience ware salt cellar which I believe dates from around the 1920-30's and is modelled as a donkey with panniers. It is naively hand painted with flowers & foliage and stands 4.125 inches high and measures 5.25 inches in length. The base carries painted marks of the Mont Saint Michel faiencerie. There is some wear to the glaze on the tips of the donkey's ears and also on the rim of one of the baskets. There is a small shallow nick to the edge of the base but the overall condition is very good with no other chips, cracks, repairs or restoration. � � � Terms and Conditions All items offered are accurately described to the best of my knowledge.
