Extremely rare set of related fossil turtle claws, phalanges, metacarpal and carpal bones. They are from a giant turtle of the genus Basilemys. These were collected from the same location in close proximity in the Upper Milk River Formation in Montana of the Cretaceous period. Included are most of the bones from a foot with some additional claw bones from the same site. As pictured the foot measures approximately 8 inches by 6 inches assembled. This is part of my grandparent's collection that has been boxed up for more than twenty years. Please view my other items !Shipping is by Priority mail for exact shipping cost plus insurance.
