~ A Spectacular & Beautiful Specimen ~

These are Baculites compressus

They are from the Bearpaw Shale in Eastern Montana

They are Cretaceous in age

This offer includes three beautiful Baculites in Matrix

The largest specimen is 8 1/2 inches in length and 2 inches in width. It has a truly beautiful barite crystal replacement. It shows a portion of the suture pattern as it goes into a solid dark barite crystal. It has been prepped in its original position on the matrix

The middle specimen is 4 inches in length and 1 inch in width. It has a fantastic suture pattern with a large variety of crystal replacement colors. It has a white lacy suture pattern. It has been placed in its position on the matrix.

The last specimen is 4 1/2 inches in length and 1 1/2 inches in width. It has a wonderful variety of coloring in the suture pattern, and absolutely beautiful. It has been prepped in its original position on the matrix.

These specimen have been polished to bring out the beauty of the fossils
