__________________ This is a REAL PHOTO postcard captioned "LAST CHANCE GULCH, HELENA, MONTANA". Nice image of Helena's main street from a half-century ago! Before the shopping malls and the walking mall. Two way traffic. Cars mostly from the 1940's and early 1950's. Lots of business signage on both sides of the street, including MECCA, SCOTT'S TOYS and BEN FRANKLIN on the left, and SILVER SPUR, JORUD PHOTO SHOP and HELENA HARDWARE on the right. Fun message includes "...busy place during the evening rush hour. Remind me to tell you about that. Ralph". Photographer not identified. Postally used; postmarked from Helena in 1954. In good to very good condition with some corner and edge wear; mainly along upper left edge.
