Montblanc 144 Black Precious Resin & Gold Fountain Pen. 14K M Nib. Discontinued. Here is a superb Montblanc 144 fountain pen. When your writing with this pen, you will understand why its so good, the length to weight ratio is spot on, it really does have a great feel to it, and if you can catch the light just right, the shiny black resin and the gold work do blend ever so nicely! The 144 is no longer in production making this pen more rare. It's condition is great, as there are no indentations, cracks or any deep scratches. There is a small stress fracture on the bottom of the pen. All the gold work on this pen is also in great condition with no plate loss, pitting and no indentations. Around the clips gold ring it does show some signs of plate loss but only noticeable at a close inspection. Around the central ring has embossed Montblanc Meisterstuck, and around the clip ring has embossed, its own unique serial number and Germany. This pen will require a new cartridge or converter for filling. Cartridges or a converter can be bought from a Montblanc retail store or online. To fill the pen, unscrew the front section away from the barrel, attach a cartridge, screw the pen back together and enjoy! The pen has a good length of 13.6 cm. 5 3/8 inch capped.
