Montblanc 1912 Heritage Edition Resin Fountain Pen RELISTING DUE TO NON PAYMENT. Here is a grand opportunity to get yourself one of Montblancs most interesting (at least in my opinion) fountain pens. The 1912 Heritage edtition pays tribute to one of Montblancs earliest designs, and does it very nicely with some great modern updates. This emulates the original safety filler fountain pen, but now instead of using a dropper to fill it, you use the built in convertor to fill from ink bottles, very much like many of Montblancs other deisgns. The design pays tribute, but updaes gracefully many of the original elements:The original had the plain white dome, the Heritage uses a clear dome with the Montblanc star "hidden" inside a pearlescent white resin top.The original had the nib retract to fill with a dropper, the Heritage still has a retractable nib, which is operated by the end knob....however, when you pull the knob out (similar to a watch crown), you cna then work the internal piston mechanism.While many of Montblancs designs are beautiful, this one is truly iconic, something to be cherised and used frequently, something
