1955 Montblanc 644 Fountain Pen This is an EXCEPTIONAL Montblanc 644 fountain pen. are the facts about this pen: Manufacture : Montblanc Model : 644 Masterpiece Body & cap material : Resin body and metal cap Body & cap finish : Green straited celluloid body and rolled gold cap Trim : Gold Nib size : Fine Nib material: 14kt solid gold - two tone Filling system : Piston filler Condition : Pen is pre-owned and in exceptional condition. This pen is spectacular! The green straited body is nearly flawless. Not a single ding, scratch, crack, scuff or mark on it. No discoloration, no damage at all. Just the very, very most minor micro-marks from a little handling. The cap is exceptionally clean with just the very tiny micro-scratches on it from light handling (after all it is 60 years old!) but not a single dent, ding, crack or bit of wear, brassing or damage. Not even wear on the edges. Both the blind cap and section gold rings have no wear or brassing. The star at the top of the cap has only light yellowing. The nib is exceptionally clean with just the very lightest micro-scratching. The pen fills well. This is pretty much as good as it gets unless you find one that is new, never touched.
