This marvellous fountain pen is in near mint condition and it is a good example of number one series (14X) pens of the MONTBLANC products. T are no cracks, chips, scratches, dings or dents nor any kind of brassing. This fountain pen has a black barrel and cap. It is a piston-filler and it writes smoothly. The imprint on the centre cap band is: MONTBLANC and MEISTERSTÜCK No 146. All the imprints are fresh and crisp. The bright white MONTBLANC logo on the cap top is clean and perfect. The nib is original, 14C, two-tone M nib. The imprints are: 4810, (inside a circle is the snow cap logo including M), 14K, MONTBLANC, and 585. The letter "M" means Meisterstück. T is a beautiful plastic box with papers for this pen. The box is in excellent condition. T is also original card board box following the pen. The pen dimensions are 142 mm long when capped and 157 mm when the cap is posted. The cap diameter is 16 mm at the centre cap band and the barrel diameter is at the bottom of the cap 13 mm. This is an excellent example of a very desirable Montblanc 146, which will be a wonderful addition to the winning bidder's collection. It can be used also as a great everyday writer.
