NEW MINT Authentic Montblanc Meisterstuck Gold Plated Cap Solitaire Doue LeGrand 146 Fountain Pen in flawless black precious resin with Gold colored metal fittings and a fantastic OB Oblique Broad nib. This is Montblanc's Largest Solitaire FP (unless you count the solid gold or skeleton 149 FP). This pinstripe gold plate doue model has been discontinued. The cap is made of solid Gold Plated Brass (no silver markings so this is not the more common softer vermeil version) with Gold colored fittings. The clip and cap rings are silver colored.The barrel is made of black resin with gold colored metal fittings . This is the Medium sized pen in the Meisterstuck collection (bigger than 144, 145, smaller than 149). It is piston filler with a clear window indicating the ink level. The white "snow cap" star crowned cap screws on. It would also stay securely posted when you would write. Dual tone 18K (750) Yellow Gold & Platinum (Rhodium plating) nib. The nib is OB Oblique Broad and is mint unused condition. The clip says " Germany " , 'Metal 2' and has a unique serial number. No model number on the piston turning knob. This pen is NEW MINT: no flaws of any kind. The piston turns smoothly. The piston assembly threads are metal (Brass: see the fifth & sixth pictures) . Original Box and papers. The boxes are a bit shelf worn. I absolutely guarantee the pen's authenticity and condition. I will gladly declare this item as a gift for customs purposes.
