In 1968 the Monterey International Pop Festival attracted Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, The Animals, Jefferson Airplane and many more to Monterey, CA for a festival. This festival was filmed in 68' and brought to the theatre in 1969.
