FRESH FROM A LOCAL CINCINNATI ESTATE! AMATEUR BILLIARD ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA SOUTHERN BALK-LINE CHAMPIONSHIP SILVERPLATED LOVING CUP TROPHY YES, That is a 12 Ounce size can for size comparison. Made by WALLACE BROS. CO., WALLINGFORD, CONN. V9342. WOW! Is this trophy Impressive! This Monumental trophy measures approx. 10 1/2 inches across the handles x 20 1/4 inches tall (see the first picture for comparison to a 12 ounce can, which is not included). This was made for the Amateur Billiard Association of America which, from what I could find, was formed in 1918. The reverse is etched "WON BY" with space for the names of those who won the Championship (no names were ever added). As for condition, the trpohy is in overall very good condition for its age with normal signs of age and use (there are some dents and bends, the most noticeable being on the top rim, and there is some pitting on the base). Plating is still bright and shiny. Trophy is Big, Bold and Beautiful and is being sold "As-Found" and "As-Is" with No Returns. ~It is written that Pictures Are Worth A Thousand Words and those below will tell the story of condition better than I can.
