In perfect condition, this lovely vase was restricted to members of the Moorcroft Collectors Club.Designed by Paul Hilditch, the vase was inspired by Paul's recollection of watching coal miners walking past his childhood home in Wolstanton on their way to work at the pit.As is often the case with Paul's narrative pieces, the design runs right round the vase without repetition, giving a different view from every angle.The photo with the soft drinks can for comparison shows that this 9.5 inch vase (pattern number 9/9) is a sizeable piece which displays superbly.With an original retail price of £465, this is a great opportunity to acquire at a substantial discount a lovely vase which was not available to the general public.See my other listings for more lovely Moorcroft pieces at great prices.
