MOORCROFT Covered Bowl Clematis Pattern (?) we are pleased to offer this absolutly stunning Moorcroft Covered Bowl. Pattern wise I am not absolutly sure if it is the Clematis Patterns since in the design the Clematis shows more petals than usual, however in my Moorcroft Book I did not find any other pattern closes to this design than the Clematis. The Clematis pattern was designed by William Moorcroft but executed by Walter Moorcroft. This Covered Bowl is truly a museum quality piece...very special. A truly exceptional example of Moorcroft Wares!! Condition: It is in excellent condition no chips, cracks or restoration. Marks & Dates: The Bottom is impressed "Moorcroft", "Made in England" and later printed paper Royal Warrant label, in use 1953-78: BY APPOINTMENT POTTER TO THE LATE QUEEN MARY Approximate Measurements: 4 1/2" Tall to the top of the lid by 6 1/4" in diameter This Charming Moorcroft Bowl shows great detailing; Don't Miss out since it is such a rare piece to find!!!! It is a must for your Moorcroft collection or a wonderful Christmas present... Really hard to find in such pristine condition!!!! Additional Information: In his early teens William's fascination with Japanese Art & Design, lead him to reproduce pottery in his own unique style.
