This auction is for a Beautiful Moorcroft Hibiscus Table Lamp standing 10" tall (with fitting), and 7" to the top of the petterned body. Although the Hibiscus pattern is not rare the patterns incorporating the Yellow Hibiscus with the purple/blue/red centres is the rarest of the all and definatelt much more desireable. It has the remnants of a paper label (Royal Warrant) which means that it has to be earlier than 1978; from experience I recognize it as being from the 1960's. This is a beautiful Lamp with no damage anywhere. I must mention that there is age-related crazing to the body which in no way detracts from the overall effect. This lamp has been in use in our home and therefore has the plug and wire still attached. We intend leaving it on, but if you prefer it to be removed just ask if you win it. As we intend leaving it wired up we should advise you to have it checked by a competant electrician before using it in your home. We aim to deliver your purchase as quickly as possible.
