This vase is a very pretty shape. The Ivory glazed finish is decorated with orange, bold flowers and green leaves. The technique used by Moorcroft is slip lining and I rather think this vase is a second quality. Even so, I am not certain why as there is nothing serious to spot. There is a small p written on the base just below the Moorcroft stamp mark. This is a lovely, decorative piece of Moorcroft and if you like Moorcroft you may well enjoy this from the 1980s before the factory changed its direction. I certainly have enjoyed this little vase and I am listing a matching lamp very shortly.
