is a half-wavy, half-straight moro kris for auction. The total length of the blade is 25-3/4". The handle is 5-1/4" and connected to the blade by a single silver stirrup. It is wrapped with red brass or copper braided the traditional Moro way in apparent tedious way, while the edge of the pommel is ridged with silver. The ferrule is ornamented silver about 5/16" in width. The upper and lower guards are nicely filed and the blade is engraved close to the guards w two ornamental engraved lines started and ended about 2" from the tip. The blade is laminated as can be seen in the picture. This is one work process that the Moros do to their blades to make it stronger and look nicer. The scabbard is 20-3/4" with four clean-out brass bands and with a decent finish. Overall, the sword is decent and fully functional. This sword deserves a place in a home with an existing personal collection rather than an old non-functional sword.more like a junk rather than a price of antiquity. Boast your collection and enjoy bidding. .
