Moroccan Solid Brass Cake Bread Box Serving Piece DESCRIPTION: This auction is for a antique solid brass container. I think it is a Moroccan bread / dessert box. This item is heavy and very large, over 2 feet tall. It is ornately decorated with an intricate design featuring birds, leaves, and flowers. It has a cone shaped lid that fits tightly onto a deep round container held up by three feet. It can be used as a decorative item or it can function as a center piece for a feast or event. SIZE: It measures approximately 27 1⁄2âe tall overall, the cover measures 18 1⁄2âe tall x 16 1⁄2âe in diameter, the bottom measures 9âe tall x 17âe in diameter, the box is 5âe tall, and the feet are 4âe tall. MAKER & MARKS (see pictures): Maker unknown. The only mark I found is a âeoe5âe on one of the feet. CONDITION: It is in Excellent overall condition with age appropriate wear. It has some minor dents around rim but nothing major. It has some vintage patina, it may need polishing. This nice item will make a great addition to your collection.
