Retro Vintage Hanging Orange Light on a Chain This is an awesome retro hanging light. The pictures do not do this beauty any justice. The label on the lamp says "Handcrafted in California by House of Mosaics" This is not a lamp that you will see around much even on ebay. I happened to find it at an estate sale. Its in working order. The lamp is about 19 inches tall. Its about 5 inches in diameter. The dominate color is orange in various shades. Hard todescribe just how this lamp was put together. Its made from what looks like plastic rocks in irregular shapes and different shades of orange. These rocks vary in shape and size, from 1 to 2.5 inches. They are imbedded in an orange colored resin that seems to ooze out between the orange rocks. The rocks form a cyinder around the light bulb about 5 inches in diameter and 12 inches in length. Its wild. I took two pictures of the lamp: one in the dark and one in bright lit room so you can see how it looks both ways. The top is metal. Gold or brass colored. It has as few spots of corrosion on it w the gold color is no longer bright. I do not think you would notice it too much when the lamp is hanging. I think it gives it an antique look.
