A breathtaking 25 piece FULL SIZE which we believe to be from the Moser Glassworks, the founder Ludwig Moser (1833-1916), was a Jewish artist from Bohemia (now the Czech Republic ). Most Moser glass artists were Bohemian. They brought intricate techniques of heavy gilding, enameling, and engraving to glass art. Finely applied enameling (often covered with gold leaf), and highly polished pontils, a sign of high quality. The punch bowl set is hand Blown and made from a Cobalt BLue Base Glass, , finished with heavy gold laquering and enameled hand painted flowers. To produce this set would have taken many hours of firing and tremendous skill. The whole set is in excellent condition and can be used, this is NOT just a cosmetic item. Excellent condition. The only flaw is some tarnish the size of a nickle on the platter . All else is like new. Magnificient to use or display.
