Double your traffic. Up for auction is a single beautiful antique Victorian-Era Bohemian Zwischengoldglas enameled crystal beaker or cup, likely Moser circa 1860 . The word Zwischengoldglas is German for “gold between glass” .The clever design of this single stunning flared glass or beaker features an enameled, green four-leaf clover on a gold leaf background, all captured under crystal. The heavy hand-cut crystal is clear but the faceted sides refract the encased enamel image on the bottom into a golden kaleidoscope of shamrocks. The four-leaf clover means “Be Mine” in the Victorian language of flowers, to your amazement as you finish your whiskey both a myriad of lucky shamrocks and their hidden message are revealed. The entire enameled design on the bottom is sealed in white. The dimensions are approximately 3 1/8" tall by 2 3/8" in diameter. This single antique, rare and hard-to-find Zwischengoldglas tapered liquor beaker has light surface marks, and some tiny nicks and wear commensurate with use and age, but there are no chips or cracks (please see all photos).A exceptional addition for the sophisticated collector of extraordinary and unique bar ware or superb Zwischengoldglas from Bohemia .I am also offering another fine Zwischengoldglas lucky shamrock crystal beaker this week (see last two photos).
