is an original Finnish army stock for last Mosin-Nagant M85. M85 was born as SNIPER rifle, but had modification later as STANDART rifle(competition weight limit). This stock is from a such standart rifle. This one is VERY early stock that was modified from M76 model stock. This is fully in M85 spec., no other Mosin-Nagant will fit in this. Mounting is with BARREL BLOCK between frame and barrel with two bolts. Has room for sniper trigger pack made by VALMET. Also has room for diopter. Issued with weapon number. Notice place and mounting holes for barrel block. Valmet factory made irons, assembly and stocks were made at depots for all M85 rifles. NOTE: This is genuine military surplus item. Maybe one of a kind early trial stock before M85 standart model. Any genuine M85 stock is extremely RARE. First and only one I have ever seen like this.
