Mosso's Oil-O-SolThis bottle dates back to 1942 and possibly earlier. Oil-O-Sol, known sometime prior to 1942 as Oil of Salt, was used to treat minor cuts, burns, insect bites and stings, symptoms of fungal infections, muscle pain, sunburn, poison ivy, and lots more. Oil-O-Sol was made by C.A. Mosso Laboratories in Chicago, Illinois. Today, we know more about Oil-O-Sol's active ingredients. Back in its day, Oil-O-Sol was used as a cure-all. Today, we know its ingredients, like turpentine and linseed oil, to be skin irritants. In conclusion, Oil-O-Sol is no longer made by Mosso's. Although I have seen some reviews of people seeking the product, even knowing about the products vial ingredients. In one such review, the individual writing stated that he was so desperate to find Oil-O-Sol that he purchased the ingredients himself and made his own batch. This bottle is half full of Oil-O-Sol liquid. The liquid is a reddish-orange color. It comes with the original box and instructions (or insert). It is all in very good condition. T is no reserve and I have made shipping as cheap as possible. So, Bid Away!!
