This is one of the Finest Auctions I have had yet!! This is a very stunning 6" Bishops pectoral cross with detail second to none, The crucifixion scene is surrounded by God the Father and Angels holding up Jesus While St. John and Mary are at the base of the cross, T is also a skull beneath the cross, I took the best close ups I could of the detailing so please look close at the pictures, at the corners of the cross are the 4 basillicas of rome with The Main St. Peters Basillica at the top, On the back is some latin text and the risen christ and the Alpha and Omega, this pectoral cross has a lot of meaning to it and its detail I can not begin to toell you how georgeous it is. I have had Great feedback on every pectoral cross I have auctioned and I know this one will go somw special. The metal of the cross I am not sure, It is hallmarked but I think its in Italian.It comes with a certificate of authenticity in Italian. This is the best of the best! Good luck!
