We recommend using a name brand quality battery and a fluorescent black light fixture that is at least 18 inches long and has a built-in reflector. To operate the ghost you will need at least 8 feet of open vertical space and a diameter of 4 feet. Construction: Ghost Let's face it... this is what everyone will be looking at. If the ghost doesn't look and move properly, no one will admire it. Our goal is to provide a ghost that looks convincing three feet away as well as thirty feet away. The ghost's detailed face is carved by hand to give the ghost its ageless features. Without these details it's just another Styrofoam head. LED lights inserted into the eyes glow brilliantly when powered. Our design incorporates them to accentuate the ghost's features and eliminates the obvious "LED look". Your choice of color includes red, blue, green, yellow, and purple (UV). The lights are powered by a single 9-volt battery. No additional power adapters or wires are necessary. A new, high quality battery should last well beyond the time you will normally display your ghost, even if you forget to turn them off. A power switch located on the back of the head makes it easy to turn the eyes off when not in use. The body frame is constructed of light, rigid materials rather than thin wire. This allows the frame to be handled repeatedly without losing its proper shape. Large eyelet connectors and weighted elbow joints wont bind and allow the arms to move fluidly. The body is made from high grade, quality cloth treated uniformly to enhance its reactivity to black light. The cloth we use has been carefully selected to preserve its proper ghostlike transparency while maintaining a suitable gossamer "etal" glow.
