WOW.....a Motorola transister radio in it's own leather carrying case. Case has a long shoulder strap and this "new" technology started the revolution of being able to have a radio at the beach or on a picnic or anyw! This little beauty probably was top of the line....very sleek styling with chrome trim -almost looks like an airplane flying across the front with the name "Motorola", the logo in silver in a red cicle and next to that some other figure (almost looks like a K) next to it also in a red circle. Handle says " POWER 10 , 7 Transistor". Radio has a handle that has 3 positions- pulls up for carrying, turned down to allow the radio to sit up or turned to the bottom for fitting into the case. Handle is navy blue plastic, body is navy blue (feels like leather). Big round tuning knob is on the front and on the top is a small on/off rolling button. Back is silver metal with a hole that I assume is for early earphones. (not as small a hole as today, of course!) Case is all leather with gold metal clasp and the top flap has holes for the speaker. Strap length is adjustable on the case and the back of the case has something that has discolored it (see photo) and t is a little stitching missing on one side on the back of the case. Radio measures approx 5"x3" (not including the handle) and case approx 7"x5" and says Motorola on the read more
