This is a cool... and Classic... pullover jacket from the ORIGINAL Motown Cafe New York. The Motown Cafe was a theme restaurant on 57th Street in New York City- right down the block from Carnegie Hall and The Hard Rock Cafe (talk about a celebration of American music and differing styles!). This restaurant celebrated the classic and original sounds that came out of Detroit during the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's that were known as "The Motown Sound". Think The Supremes, The Jackson Five, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye. And now coming back big time in the Oscar nominated film "DREAMGIRLS". So while you might find some Motown Cafe items out t- you will NOT find any from the Original New York location... and that actually say "New York" on them. So this is a collector's item! This jacket has not been worn- It is size SMALL. It features a 3 front pockets and a hood. This jacket was never worn. And though it is about 8 or 9 years old, it is in like-new condition. The jackets originally sold for $120.00. If you, or someone you know, love Motown... wrap yourself in some great memories and style!!! I also have a size M up for auction.
