Mottahedeh Hand Painted Dancing Monkeys Lamps This is a pair of hand painted Mottahedeh porcelain Dancing Monkeys that have been cleverly made into fabulous accent lamps by lighting professional craftsmen. They are Mottahedeh reproductions of 18th century Meissen dancing monkeys. They are signed, although due to the way they are fastened to the base, I am not able to photograph the signatures on the bottoms of the figurines. You'll have to take my word for it. These hand painted Dancing Monkeys are quite unusual - the unpainted ones are much more common. The painting on these two is extraordinary. They are in exceptional condition and are truly unique - whimsical and beautiful. The switches are two-way (bright and dim) and will take a standard bulb single watt bulb. I am selling off my lighting collection only because I am downsizing from a really large house to a really small one and I just don't have the room for them any longer. Please check out my other items - I have some unique lighting up for auction. And, please email any questions and I will get back to you quickly. Thank you kindly for your interest.
