is a stunning set by Mottahedeh, Vista Alegre, in the Blue Canton, or Canton, blue and white pattern. This auction consists of an octagonal tray, which measures 16-7/8" x 13-7/8", a coffepot with lid, and a creamer and covered sugar. The coffepot measures 7.5" high to the top of the knob on the lid. The mark on the bottom of each piece is: Mottahedeh, Vista Alegre, Portugal, Historic Charleston Reproduction. Boos was an appraiser famous for his expertise and appearances on Antiques Road Show, and known as the "Bow-Tie Man" until his death in February, 2008. Although I hope to sell these items as a set, if they do not sell in this auction, I will be listing them individually, so please let me know if
