This auction is NO RESERVE and a nominal start for a Teapot by the uber-talented team of Mottahedeh and Vista Alegre in their gorgeous Lowestoft Rose pattern, widely regarded as one of the best things tey ever did. An estate piece from a very good Dallas estate and completely fresh to market. MARKS: Well-marked as shown and guaranteed authentic. AGE: ca. 1990, about 18 years old. CONDITION: Basically As-New. It was obviously very well cared for and used for display only. NO chips, cracks, food stains, discolorations, hairlines, fleabites, repairs, etc. NO wear to the design or the gilding. I include honest pics taken from every possible angle in strong light and the pics are very honest and show the condition well and for all practical purposes it is in as-new condition and you won't be disappointed. SIZE: About 6.25" tall and 10" wide across the spout/handle and it would be considered a full-size teapot. NO RESERVE and a nominal start and the pics tell the rest of the story. Lowestoft Rose was made for only 8 years and it has been discontinued for 15 years and a single dinner plate in good condition typically fetches over $150 per each in the secondary market.
