Artus Van Briggle previously worked for the Rookwood Pottery company where he established himself as a talented artist before relocating to Colorado Springs and opening his own pottery business. Artus focused on the timeless art nouveau styles and designs which rose in popularity during the Craftsman era. Unfortunately, Artus lived only a few more years before dying from tuberculosis. His wife Anne, however, ensured that her husband’s legacy would carry on for many more years to come.
