Unique and fantastic for the wine collector! Created in 1982, this is a wall art piece dedicated to Ch. Mouton Rothschild and the de Rothschild's significant position in the history of great First Growths of international wine production. Designed to celebrate the artist labels and the de Rothschild's acceptance of the Chateau Mouton Rothschild vineyard into the French "Premier Cru Classe" of 1855 as of 1973 ( First Growth Status). 1973 was the year that Pablo Picasso painted the bottle label chosen for that year's wine production. Mouton Rothschild (celebrating Premier Cru Classe designation), art print of the "Artists Labels" from the date of initiation 1945, to 1981 the year of publication and world tour by the de Rothschid's to famous art museums presenting the original label paintings in a sold out show, a print of Baron Phillipe de Rothschild and his daughter Phillipine de Rothschild (Phillipine has been, and is now, running Chateau Mouton Rothschild since the long ago death of Baron Philipe), a signed-in-person autograph by Phillipine de Rothschild, and a brass etched name plate. The presentation measures 42"h x 34"w x 5 1/2" deep. It was made by a professional read more
