Up for auction is this Movieland magazine dated August 1949, published monthly by Movieland Inc., Dunellen, NJ, Montgomery Clift cover. Great old Movie and Movie Star magazine with lots of color and b/w photos of Movie Stars and Movies, New Film reviews, some full page movie star photos, Hollywood events and Gossip, Fashion and Beauty Tips, Movie/Studio/Movie Star History, and much more, plus some nice advertising including Movie ads, 90 pages, magazine size appx 8 1/2" x 10 13/16". SEE MANY MORE PHOTOS BELOW. Condition: Magazine covers show very light edge and corner wear with a few tiny corner tip creases, light soiling around edges on covers, light spine wear with a few small creases at top and bottom of spine cover, a few light scratches/creases on front cover, contents are complete and near VG+ with very light edge and corner wear, will find a few tiny corner tip creases, a few pages with light soiling/stains around edges, pages have light browning mostly around edges due to poor paper quality, some musty/smoky smell due to poor storage.
