WorkPrinter XP Telecine converter from MoviestuffThis unit is designed to digitally convert 8mm or Super 8mm film. A camera is aligned through the lens to capture the film. The film is backlit by a no-heat LED light source to reduce risk of damaging the film and feeds the film through the machine without the use of sprockets which also helps reduce risk of damage. The Synch mouse included connects to the back of the WorkPrinter XP to trigger the film capture software and is synchronized to To use this, you will need a video camera to capture the image connected through Firewire or another method to a computer. For the software, you will need to purchase Cinecap for Windows, or CaptureMate for Mac.This unit works perfectly well and has been used to convert 100's of reels of 8mm and Super 8mm film to DVD.
