MPC #702 “STP Cougar Country” ’67 Cougar Funny Car Decals Decals are exceptionally nice. These decals are from the immensely popular and highly sought after MPC drag car series from the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s. It has been my experience from buying model collections over the past 27 years for Hobby Heaven that the decals in early drag car kits are often missing or not in usable condition, so it’s a rare occasion indeed to find them available by themselves. I’m offering more than a dozen from this series at this time in addition to several AMT and Revell drag cars and MPC annuals that included drag car options. Check ’em out! Unless indicated otherwise, all of the decals I have listed appear to be in good usable condition and pretty much free of imperfections. Many look just like new, although some may have small imperfections if you look close enough. Some are up to 50 years old, making it impossible to know for certain what will happen once they’re placed in water, so it’s always a good idea to apply a clear lacquer such as Microscale Liquid Decal Film to old decals. Testors Gloss Cote works, too, although the Microscale Liquid Decal Film is specifically made for this purpose. US shipping is $2.00 for up to 15 decal sheets and they will be sent in a standard first class mail envelope protected with a piece of thin chipboard to minimize flexing. Decal auctions with more than 15 decals or totaling over $25.00 will be sent in a Priority Mail box for $4.95 (for up to one pound) to ensure that they will arrive safely, and if decals total over $50.00, insurance will be required as well. I can also send smaller quantities by Priority Mail in a box at $4.95 if you prefer. Decals should arrive safely in the envelope using the cheaper method, but I cannot be responsible for their delivery or safety unless you choose the Priority Mail shipping. If you win at least one kit, too, it will cost nothing or very little to include the decal sheets with the kit. Canada shipping is $3.00 for up to 12 decal sheets and they will be sent in a standard first class mail envelope protected with a piece of thin chipboard to minimize flexing. For more than 12 decals I will ship them as economically as possible while taking into consideration their value and safety. Decals should arrive safely, but I cannot be responsible for the delivery or condition of items sent by first class mail. I can send them by Priority Mail in a box if you request it, but the cost is considerably higher and probably isn’t worth it unless you win a number of valuable decals.
