Mr. and Mrs. Smith (RKO, 1941). One Sheet (27 X 41 ). This comedy/romance was directed by Alfred Hitchcock, a rare deviation from his typical genre. The film begins when Mr. Smith (Robert Montgomery) tells Mrs. Smith (Carole Lombard) that if he had it all to do over again he might not marry her. Suddenly, by happenstance, they find out their marriage is invalid, and Montgomery spends the rest of the film trying to win Lombard back. There are border tears, chips, nicks, and corner pinholes but the poster has been professionally restored, minimizing these defects. This seldom seen one sheet is a must for the Hitchcock collector or for those seeking a poster that displays a beautiful image of the lovely Ms. Lombard. Fine/ Very Fine on Linen.
