Hello, I listed this as used but it might actually be new, I only took out of the box to make sure it works, because it's been sitting on a shelf for years, Everything checks out, in fact I think it sounds great. Since it works independently of the transaformer, or train, it can be used with any scale model railroad. It is made by MRC, and is the Symphony77, model # AA555. You get 2 speakers, the controller, original instructions, and AC adapter. The sounds include choice of horns, whistles,steam, or diesel mode,fan, bell air release,brakes, crossing gate, and rail clack. It is music to a model railroaders ears.
