MRS. SANTA SEWS! This is a Mrs. Santa for someone who sews. Mrs.Santa carries a shopping basket with new quilting notions, and several new patterns she can't wait to try. She has a stack of fabric, on bolts, waiting at home, but they were having a sale on remnants, and so she has four new fabrics in her other arm. She forgot to remove her tape measure and scissors at home, and has worn them into the store, still around her neck. At her feet, t is a basket of mending. Santa is so hard on his clothing. His striped red socks, and bright red long johns are waiting for her at home. Of course t is a cat in the basket too. On her sleeve she wears a patch that says, "I love Santa." The other sleeve says "believe." Her back pack is like a sewing box. T is a pin cushion, scissors, tape, ribbons, thread. At her feet, in back, t is both a new and an old sewing machine. The new one is hooked into her computer, for those embroidery designs, you know. Another cat surveys the situation. She has a stack of books on the floor, too. Threads magazines, French insert by machine, etc. Another cat. T are four cats on this gourd. No mice. I wonder why? From her sturdy stem, Mrs. Santa hangs an antiqued paper banner, that reads "believe." It is held to the stem by a rusty safety pin and two rusty jingle bells. This gourd is signed and dated, by me.
