This is a US Navy version of the MS-22001 oxygen mask , used with the H-3 , H-4 , and APH-5 flight helmets by fighter pilots during the 1950's . It is a size - Medium . It has the very early version of the MC-3 connector ( marked 191 A2 ) , on the end of the hose . It is in pretty good condition for its age , and the rubber is soft and pliable , but it does show some cracking in assorted places . Its dated 1954 .
