Product Description Up for auction is a MSA military ballistic helmet with pads chinstrap and helmet cover. helmet is in excellent condition. The Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH) delivers the world's most advanced ballistic and impact head protection, NIJ level III A protection, with unsurpassed comfort for long-term use. This helmet is the new light weight improved USMC/US Army ACH. It is rated 20% lighter and 8 % additional ballistic protection over the older MICH. The helmet's low-profile design reduces the risk of interference in target acquisition and ensures compatibility with NVG (Night-Vision Goggles), Gas Masks, and Communication Devices. The helmet features an innovative 4 point suspension system with movable foam comfort pads which are attached to Velcro strips on the inside of the helmet and provide customized sizing and superior comfort. The sized pads conform to the shape of your head to distribute the helmet's weight evenly and comfortably. The 4 point chin strap and pad system is 7 times more stable than the PASGT helmets 2 point system and provides far greater comfort. The level lll A ballistic performance surpasses that of the older PASGT helmets while at the same time it is also significantly lighter.
