The knife measures 9 1/4" open. The blade is 1/16" under 5" long. The handles are gutta percha. They show some wear but not so bad. There are a few small dings, nicks and two very fine hairline cracks at the center pin, one on each side, opposite pins - minor, see pics. U-bolsters, guards, liners and pins are nickel silver, blade guard is steel. The MSA Ideal style blade was used some but it appears to be close to full and in very good condition with hard snap and stiff half stop. There is a bit of play between guards and bolster when blade is open, but not too much.The tang stamp is light in the center, common to many of the MSA folders. The blade was nicely cleaned at some point. The leather sheath and the knife are both rare in any condition and this is a correct match. They are both quite nice. Thank you and good luck.
