When only the VERY BEST will do! On a scale of 1 to 10 this superb piece is off the chart! Attributed to Mount Washington based of the size, shape, quality and heavily embossed brass and silver plate lid and fittings. Very rare raindrop example, much harder to find than herringbone or diamond quilted. 9 wide vertical stipes in bright pink, blue and yellow with factory done decor of magenta pansy blossoms and buds with frosty white and gold birch leaves...Victorian satin glass comes no better than this! Inside of lid marked with a tiny #4. 8 inches to the finial and approx. 6 inches wide, fresh from a coastal Maine estate. Pristine condition with no damage, repair, wear and no air blisters so common in old satin glass. S and I to be determined based on insurance cost; I would estimate $35.00. Money order or bank check only sent to my Maine summer address within 7 days please; NO Pay Pal. Please note I do not give out reserve prices and will not end auctions early so please do not ask. Please ask any questions in a timely manner as I may be unable to respond on the final day. If you love Mount Washington glass, high end biscuit/cracker jars or stunning Victorian art glass it comes no better than this example.
