MTH 30-1314-1 RAILKING erie berkshire steam locomotive, this is an engine out of my personal collection. The engine has been custom weathered to simulate a hard working freight train. I used fish tank charcoal on the tedner to make the coal load look more realistic, It is only applied with watered down elmers glue and can be pealed right off with no damage to the engine, some has already started to peel so the winner can either add more or just take it off. Also pictured are brass details I made, they are grab irons that would be on a larger premier model. Protosound 2.0 gives you the best speed control in the business letting you crawl in scale MPH incriments, engine sounds sync with your speed and smoke, realistic whistle and bell as well as operating protocoupler on the end of tender which can be fired remoteely anywhere on the layout and much more. , The engine has no breaks, runs excellent and smokes super clouds, sounds are great. I hope the winning bidder enjoys this engine as much as I did. n the 1920s, increased competition meant that railroads had to come up with new ways of doing business if they hoped to remain successful.
