MTH RK-2502 GG1 Silver and Blue single Stripe AMTRAK markings in truely Excellent Condition. No rust, scratches or marks on the cab. Carfully adult used. Complete with Pentographs and instructions. Original Box, in good condition. Classic engine is a copy of the 1935 locomotive designed by famed industrial designer Raymon Loewe (also designed many Studebakers including the Avante and Air Force 1 for John Kennedy) first offered by Lionel in 1947 considered by many to be the finest locomotive Lionel has ever built. The GG1 was capable of hauling 18 passenger cars at 100 miles per hour, and 2 GG1's had the pulling power of a Big Boy! MTH has improved this engine which includes twin Flywheel Equipped Motors, 12 Powered Drivers Weighs over 6 1/2 pounds. Metal Chassis Twin Pentographs, and more.
