This auction is for anMTH/Ives No.3243R White Electric Engine&Passenger Set,#10-1155-1,StandardGauge,NIB, No Reserve. Consignor purchased this Set new, tested it, and placed it into storage. Because it was in storage for awhile, we took the engine to Hobbytown in Frederick , MD and had the battery replaced and had it checked over. It works great. The Engine (10-115A-1) has a Precision Flywheel Equipped Pittman Motor, a die-cast metal chassis, a stamped steel body, metal handrails and decorative bell, a constant voltage headlight, a decorative metal whistle, and ProtoSound 2.0 with Passenger Station Proto-Effects and Digital Command System (DCS). This set also comes with a No.189 Observation Car (#10-1155D), a No. 188 Parlor Car (#10-1155C), and a No. 187 Buffet Car (#10-1155B). We removed the passenger cars from the boxes for the first time for inspection. There is still manufacturer applied paper installed between the bodies and the roofs of these passenger cars. We did not remove this packaging for the pictures. These passenger cars have stamped steel bodies, metal wheels and axles, nickel trim, and operating metal latch couplers. This set comes with an operator’s manual and will be shipped in the original shipping box. It also comes with bulbs and flags. 72” curve is recommended for operating this set.
