MTH R/K IMPERIAL #30-1596-1 JERSEY CENTRAL PACIFIC STEAM LOCO w/PS 3.0 **NEW** Here Just Released from MTH Rail King "Imperial" Line is a model of the Jersey Central RR "Blue Comet" (4-6-2) P47 Pacific Steam Loco - This one from the 2013 vol 1 catalog # 30-1596-1. The item is Brand New, Mint and Unused factory fresh in original box with instructions, etc... Jersey Central "Blue Comet" fans will love the detail and paint scheme on this neat RailKing Steamer.. Ask me about matching passenger cars also available.. At the very apex of the Roaring Twenties, just months before 1929 stock market crash, the Central of New Jersey Railroad inaugurated its twice-daily Blue Comet service between Jersey City and Atlantic City.. Later five G-3 Pacifics, reclassified as P47 locomotives, headed up the Jersey's famed passenger trains. Three locomotives - painted in a beautiful blue livery with nickel trim and numbered 831, 832 and 833 - covered The Blue Comet's fast schedule along the Jersey shoreline. Originally introduced to the RailKing product line in 1999, the Blue Comet returns in 2013. These extraordinary locomotives sport Imperial Dress with additional detail and the incredible power and performance of Proto-Soundr 3.0.
