This item is an original, MTH Premier Pennsylvania K-4s Die-Cast Steam Engine and Tender, Cab No. 5400, MTH item number 20-3018-1. This richly detailed and high quality engine is the original engine from the MTH Spring 1996 Catalog. The original MSRP was $899.00. This engine features a high performance Pittman motor, 1/4" scale detail and dimensions, it weighs over 10 pounds, is compatible with most AC transformers, has operating Proto-Smoke system, and operates on O-31 track. It has a die-cast boiler, tender and chassis, has constant voltage headlight and a cab interior detail with engineer figure, has die-cast leading, trailing and tender trucks, operating marker lights, operating firebox glow, has a remote controlled Proto-Coupler, precision ball-bearing-equipped gear box, operating tender back up light, real coal load, is equipped with ProoSound Digital Sound Package, and measures 22 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". I am the original owner. This engine was run only a few times and looks like new. The original box and instruction manual are also in excellent condition. Because the engine has not been used in over 10 years, the battery will need to be charged or replaced (not difficult to do). For your convenience, a new MTH battery is included!
