Up for sale today is a one of kind piece. This is the MTH production sample, the very first made, American Flyer Flying Colonel Set. This set is the traditional version, no sound. This sale includes the engine and the three passenger cars. All of which have writing on the floors, confirming they are production samples. All boxes and foams are included, but do show some wear. The foams and the boxes as shown in the pictures also have writing from MTH on them. The engine was bench tested and ran fine, the lights worked, and the bell functioned as it should. The engine and cars are in excellent condition, the only flaw is the engine roof. Two stantions came loose and scratched the roof. Very small scratches, but they are there.
