Here is a drop dead georgous mule deer mount! The cape has a nice crisp color. It is fresh out of the shop and still on the mounting stand. The antlers are hunter taken - not sheds, but cut from the skull plate and are pinned - a square hole to a square pin, it couldn't be easier. They just slide into place. It only takes seconds and this makes shipping less difficult and it arrives in perfect shape. It is less expensive to ship and we are able to control the mount and antlers better in transit. Antlers: Main beams measure 24 inches; longest point is over 17 inches and 2 points at 11inches or better; bases measure 4.50 inches; it has a 25+ inch inside spread and an outside spread of just shy of 31 inches. I gross score it at approx. 189+. It meets the Holy Grail of the mule deer guide: over 30 wide, deep forks and symetrical. The neck measures 24 inches at the base of the ears and 28 inches a few inches down. The mount comes complete with hanger. Shipping is $35.00 and we will only ship to the lower 48 states. Please allow 3 days for boxing. Winning bidder has a 3 day inspection period. The mount can be returned in the same box and a refund will be given for the amount of the bid only. We are not a home based business, but a brick and mortar, full-service taxidermy studio with 40 years in the same location. I just happen to like working on deer, creating mounts to be enjoyed by those who may not be into hunting, but appreciate the art form. Our business is based on creating the largest trophy class mounts at the best price we can generate.
