Beautiful Mullingar Pewter Ireland pair of pewter candleholders in the Bealin Cross pattern feature elegant slightly raised design on body and base, with original box. Each candleholder measures approx. 4-1/2" tall x 2-1/8" diameter at top to fit small pedestal candles. Both are marked on bottom with a paper label that reads, "Finest Grade, Mullingar Pewter, 95-3-2, Made in Ireland," and embossed on bottoms, " Made in Mullingar Ireland". These are used pieces and are not like brand new. Light but visible scratches and scuff marks throughout each candleholder consistent with moderate use and handling, and several tarnish marks on each piece (pieces will need to be thoroughly cleaned." Original box shows significant wear with visible scuffing and scratches, and multiple dents and dings, as well as significant discoloration inside top lid. Small paper insert describes the history of the Bealin Cross on one side and gives instructions for the care of pewter on the other.
