Vintage Murano Barbini Gold Art Glass Bowl Sommerso Exc Stunning Retro Aventurine Copper Design Seguso 60/70's' Up for auction is this Stunning Murano Venetian Glass Bowl, in Gold and Smoky Grey, displaying beautiful use of the renowned Sommerso and Aventurine techniques.
Probably by Barbini circa 1960's / 70's, similar pieces were also made by Seguso, unlabelled but featuring all their characteristics. In a great Biomorphic Triple Lobed Shape giving it a great freeflowing form. A Great Decorative Retro piece, in Excellent Condition, there is one rough area inbetween 2 of the 'lobes', possibly from production, very hard to notice and not possible to picture, a couple of miniscule fleabites which are unnoticeable, only mentioned for accuracy. A lovely Unusual shape that catches the light Beautifully from any angle, and would make a striking addition to any vintage, modernist or contemporary interior. Measures 18 x 16 x 8cm , 7 x 6.5 x3in.
